Impact Stories
Community Development for Peace (CDP) has been working since 2013 to raise awareness against negative phenomena like radicalism, drugs, crime, corruption and human trafficking from the very root level of the society. In order to do that, the CDP has arranged a number of seminars and policy dialogues emphasizing multiple security issues by subject matters among different stakeholders in a number of institutions in Bangladesh. It has organized various sessions with participation from the UNODC, the U.S. Embassy, different High Commissions, Anti Terrorism Unit, Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime Unit of Bangladesh Police and several law enforcement agency officials; universities and other (this is the 1st NGO initiative in Bangladesh).
