Since 2005, the Charitable Foundation "Caritas Odesa UGCC" has been fostering traditions of philanthropy and volunteerism in Ukraine, particularly in the Odesa region. Over the years, we have successfully implemented hundreds of projects, providing vital support to millions of the most vulnerable people in need.
Since 2009, the Foundation has been actively involved in combating human trafficking, and to date, we have built a strong team of experts in this field. These specialists continually enhance their knowledge and skills through various practices and training programs.
The onset of the full-scale invasion only amplified our efforts, as the number of vulnerable individuals dramatically increased. Nevertheless, we have remained steadfast in our primary mission – providing aid to the most vulnerable, without regard to race, nationality, ethnicity, class, religion, or any other distinction.
Today, our projects span a range of areas including free education, with a focus on inclusivity; combating human trafficking through awareness, identification, and assistance to victims; emergency response to the humanitarian crisis caused by the war; psycho-social support; community facilitation; entrepreneurship development, and more.
