Impact Stories
Historically, MUCD has provided attention to over 25,000 victims of crime, monitored over 100 attorney general's offices accross the country, observed more than 3,000 oral trials to support our country's transition to the adversarial criminal justice system, oriented more than half a million complainants when reporting a crime and implemented several prevention projects impacting over 220,000 people. We have also collaborated with more than 300 companies, where we have trained over 28,000 employees in culture of lawfulness, rule of law and corruption prevention.

MUCD is part of the Vienna and New York NGO Committees covering CND and CCPCJ, we are also part of the Alliance of NGOs working on crime prevention and several of our staff members have been included as part of the National Delegation of Mexico to both mechanisms, including during high level meetings such as the UNGASS 2016.

Organization work linked to UNTOC

We just opened a line of work on illicit gun trafficking and we would like to use the expertise acquired in other international mechanisms and fora to firther advance this agenda in Mexico and abroad.
