We work effectively with survivors of sex trafficking to help them get justice and push for legal reforms to end impunity for these crimes.Equality Now has a unique focus on and strong track record in the legal systems needed to tackle abuses, advocating that governments fulfill their international human rights obligations to protect women and girls.

Organization's mission

Equality Now has been working towards endinghuman trafficking for the purpose of sexual exploitation for over 20 yearsand hasdeep and extensive knowledge on the issue. In partnership with grassroots organisations that are centered onsurvivors’ experience, we advocate for strong laws targeting both those who profit fromsextraffickingand those who are fueling it.Our social change model utilises legal, advocacy and partnership pathways at the community, national, regional and international levels to promote and protect the human rights of girls and women, who are the majority of victims of sex trafficking globally.
