Public-Private Integrity (PPI) has made significant strides in combating transnational organized crime through collaborative efforts with civil society organizations (CSOs) and government agencies. Recently, PPI published a parallel report focusing on corruption prevention and asset recovery, highlighting systemic vulnerabilities that facilitate illicit activities.
Additionally, PPI's collaboration with governmental bodies aims to enhance transparency and accountability within public services, addressing corruption directly. This partnership has led to the identification of critical obstacles in policy and administration reform, particularly within the operations of Gambia's public ferry service.
Recent publications by PPI underscore the need for comprehensive reforms to dismantle corrupt practices and improve service delivery. By fostering dialogue among stakeholders, PPI is not only raising awareness but also driving actionable change to ensure integrity in public service operations, ultimately contributing to a more secure and equitable society in Gambia.
